Each T18 Racing Sloop comes with numbered Ship’s Papers signed by Master Boat Builder and Designer, Will Lesh. All parts of this toy sailboat are made from the finest materials: the fittings are solid brass, the hulls are made of solid Western Red Cedar, the sails are nylon spinnaker cloth, and the keel is stainless steel with a zinc ballast casting. With almost half of the weight of the boat in the keel casting, the T18 is completely self-righting. This beautiful boat has the power to sail in anything from the lightest breeze up to winds gusting 25 miles per hour. The T18 Racing Sloop is available as both a kit or a finished boat. Finished boats are beautifully varnished with many coats of high-quality marine varnish to last for years of fun and come fully assembled and ready to sail.

Kits are easily assembled in about 1 hour and can be painted or varnished for extra beauty and longevity. Your T18 kit includes all of the parts and instructions to build a wonderful sailboat. All you will need is paint or varnish if you choose to finish the hull, but even without paint or varnish the western red cedar hull will last for many years.
