T59 RC Gaff Topsail Sloop
Elegant, super fast, classic looks, beautiful wood construction, towering rig, totally amazing performance - all of these are good descriptions for the T59 Classic Gaff Topsail Sloop. Along with the slightly smaller T47 Gaff Rigged Schooner, the T59 harkens back to the glorious days of sailing. The T59 captures this traditional look without even the slightest sacrifice in performance. Above the waterline the T59 is a classic and beautiful wooden yacht, but there is a lot of power hidden below the waterline in her deep, heavily ballasted fin keel and balanced spade rudder. In sailing the T59 and the super fast T50 together, we found they matched each other almost perfectly for speed and excellent performance on virtually every course. This is truly a spectacular sailing yacht!
