The Tippecanoe T50 Radio Controlled Trimaran is the fastest, most advanced sailboat we have ever built. Featuring three knife-like hulls that slice through the water at remarkable speeds, this high-performance RC multi-hull leaves standard mono-hull designs in its wake. Every single component of the T50 Tri is engineered for lightweight agility and maximum velocity.

Spectacular Acceleration & Stability

The acceleration of the T50 Trimaran is breathtaking—launching from a dead stop to full speed in a matter of seconds. Because the three ultra-light hulls create virtually zero resistance on the water, the boat picks up speed the exact instant its sails catch the breeze.

Best of all, this speed doesn't compromise stability. Through perfected design innovations, the T50 Tri is engineered to be almost impossible to capsize. Even when caught in sharp weather squalls with wind speeds topping 20 miles per hour, this stable trimaran stays upright and flying.

Advanced Carbon Fiber & Lightweight Plywood Engineering

To achieve its mind-blowing agility, the T50 Tri utilizes a highly developed 1/16-inch plywood construction. This premium, lightweight wood allows us to form beautiful compound curves in the hull shapes. Backed by three ultra-light internal bulkheads to eliminate dead weight, the three hulls are securely locked together using high-strength carbon fiber tubes. Rigging wires keep the two side outriggers slightly higher than the center hull for optimized hydrodynamics.

Fully rigged with all RC gear and batteries installed, the entire boat weighs an astonishing 4 pounds—unbelievably light for a multi-hull vessel with a 50-inch length and a towering 77-inch mast!

Dual Rigs & Quick-Disassembly Design

The T50 Trimaran includes two complete rigs with three interchangeable sail combinations to perfectly match any wind condition:

• Heavy Air Rig: Drops down to 550 square inches of sail area for high-wind control.

• Light Air Rig: Expands up to a massive 1,260 square inches of sail area to catch the faintest breeze.

Despite its impressive size, the T50 is designed for easy transport and storage. It completely disassembles in minutes—the carbon fiber masts and sails slide right off, and the hulls quickly separate. The process is so simple that a 12-year-old can fully break down the boat in just over 3 minutes.
